Community Meeting - Bristol Local Plan & Western Harbour

This meeting is an opportunity to hear updates from Bristol City Council officers about the Local Plan and Western Harbour and ask questions.

Simone Wilding, Chief Planner, Head of Planning Services, Bristol City Council will update the meeting on the Bristol Local Plan which is currently out for public consultation.

The Local Plan contains citywide policies and specific area-based proposals such as Central Bristol and Western Harbour for the period to 2040

Deadline to send in comments and feedback is 26 January. After this the plan will be submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination.

Emily Price, Regeneration Manager, Bristol City Council will provide an update on the Western Harbour project, including the recent advert for a master planning team to develop the next stage of the project.

HCCA will be responding formally to the Local Plan and continues to represent Hotwells and Cliftonwood Residents on Western Harbour.  We look forward to meeting with everyone to help shape our response to the Local Plan and continue our representation on Western Harbour.
