She has written and recorded music for BBC radio dramas and various films, most recently the award winning film A Year In The Field.  She co-founded The Devil's Violin, a critically acclaimed storytelling and music company that toured throughout the UK and Europe. She plays cello with The Bristol Ceilidh Quartet and The Andrew Christie Quartet.

She first performed at the Hotwells Festival of Words, and has since been featured four times on BBC Radio Upload, performed on the Milk Poetry stage at Valleyfest and was headliner for Clifton's Heron Books anniversary celebration last Christmas.  This year she won the Lyra Poetry Festival Grand Slam at St. Geroge's and the Hip Yak Poetry Slam at WOMAD festival.

Films from Bristol 48 Hour Puppet Film Challenge.

The Bristol 48h Puppet Film Challenge was originally created in 2020 by the House of Funny Noises. Its aim was to give people a creative outlet during the COVID 19 lockdowns. The Film Challenge is now a Puppet Place production and is heading into its fifth year!

"We want to spread the joy of puppetry and stop-motion animation far and wide, encouraging professionals and new-comers alike to take on the challenge."

Puppet Place was originally based at Hope Centre and run by Kate Pollard. It is now based on Spike Island and supports a community of over 40 artists working in puppetry and animation.
