Play Park Mural

This year local parent and artist, Amy Hutchings, produced a beautiful mural design in consultation with Luise Holder, Anna Wilson and other play park users for Charles Place Play Park.

In April Amy painted the mural with help from friends, community volunteers and students.

The mural was coordinated by Anna from HCCA and funded by Hotwells Panto

A big thanks to everyone involved.

charles_place_.jpgCharles Place Play Park has always been a community park, but over the years it was neglected until finally, in 2013 HCCA's Ray Smith, worked with local mums Luise Holder and Anna Wilson to persuade Bristol City Council to renew the park.

Our Spring 2013 newsletter has a little more info about this process.

The play park also has a facebook page

Our next project is to replant the park with help from Art Under the Flyover.

This is very good move by Amy Hutching and is fellow friends to come off with the idea to redevelop the Charles place play park area into good looking one by painting Mural designs on the walls of the park. As articles suggests People must come together to develop their playing park which are neglected by the authorities.
