Hotwells & Cliftonwood Community Association

The Hotwells and Cliftonwood Community Association has existed for over 30 years. Its main aims can be summarised as:

• enabling people in our neighbourhood to meet their needs and have greater control over the decision-making processes which affect their lives,
• facilitating democratic involvement by people through shared skills, knowledge and experience,
• challenging the attitudes of individuals, and institutions which discriminate against and marginalise people,
• taking action to tackle social, economic, political and environmental problems in our area,
• working towards the development of a sustainable local economy.

The organisation is a registered charity and operates as a company limited by guarantee, managed by a committee of Trustees, who are elected annually by members of the Association.
